Shining a light on North Berwick’s buildings at risk

North Berwick’s built environment tells the story of its past — but not all of it is safe for the future. That’s why the North Berwick Buildings at Risk Register exists: to track the buildings in our area that are vacant, underused, or in danger of being lost.

Created and maintained by us here at NBEHT, the register helps raise awareness of important sites that are at risk due to neglect, decay, or changing circumstances. These buildings may be architecturally significant, part of our industrial or social history, or simply part of the town’s unique character.

You can explore the register on our website, which includes photographs, details of each building’s condition, and any actions being taken. It’s not just a list — it’s a call to action.
