AGM 6th April - East Lothian’s Housing Strategy

‘A date for your diary! The Annual General Meeting of NBEHT will take place on Thursday 6th April at 7pm in the chapel of St Andrew Blackadder. The guest speaker will be Rebecca Pringle of East Lothian Council, who will be speaking about the Council’s new Local Housing Strategy’.

East Lothian’s Local Housing Strategy

Each local authority has a statutory responsibility to produce a Local Housing Strategy every 5 years. This is the sole strategic document for investment in housing and housing related services across all tenures. East Lothian’s current LHS comes to an end in August 2023, by which time the Council will be required to have a new robust and credible LHS signed off by the Scottish Government.  This talk will provide you with an opportunity to find out how the LHS impacts on your communities, and shapes East Lothian.  It will also provide an opportunity to reflect on existing structures and feed into the upcoming LHS 2023-28
